In addition to counselling on various techniques of tooth brushing and inter-dental cleaning (including thread floss, inter-dental brushes, water flossers etc.), we offer comprehensive range of gum treatments for your gum care including, but not limited to : Scaling & Deep cleaning To remove the calculus & tartar from the tooth surface, above and deep below the gums. If left untreated, calculus and tartar encourage bacteria to grow which eventually leads to breakdown of underlying tissues and tooth loss. Root planning Also involves smoothening the root surface and removing infected tooth structure Gum surgeries Involves surgical procedures to remove diseased gum tissue and re-shape and re-attach the gums to normal shape Soft tissue & Bone grafting Bone and gum defects may require grafting procedures in addition to just surgical correction.

What to expect afterwards?

• Discomfort may vary from person to person and depending on the nature of procedure carried out • Tooth sensitivity may occur in some patients, the duration and severity may vary from person to person • Over the counter Pain-killers may be required. De- sensitizing toothpastes and mouthwashes may be used. • Brushing and Flossing on the surgical area may be delayed, and follow the instructions as given • Dietary restrictions, if any given, may need to be followed
